Schipperke

This small black dog weighs in at only 10 to 18 pounds and doesn’t have a tail to knock things down in your apartment. Although these dogs are quite active and require daily exercise, they will be happy to run around in the park or outside your apartment for a brief period each day.

Schnauzer

Miniature Schnauzers are a great choice for apartment living, as they weigh only 13 to 15 pounds. Although the breed does require regular exercise and grooming, it is a very family-friendly pet that is eager to keep the family safe.
